It’s too much! We have never seen such a rare unique piece come through Mabel D. Orr. This piece is an authentic handmade 1940’s wartime sweater, the inside of the piece has knots where stitches were finished, and personalized sizing. It is a piece of art. Despite the specific sizing, it would easily fit a size small. Because it is handmade, it does not come with tags, but the material is likely Rayon, or a Silk blend. On the right shoulder, you can see one of those finished off stitch knots, which pokes out, however it is not visible when on. I’m not sure we will ever see a piece like this again. It is too beautiful!!
